How Does a Ultrasonic Cleaner Work?

Ultrasonic wave spreads in liquid, making liquid vibrate together with rinsing tank under ultrasonic frequency, liquid and rinsing tank has inherent frequency when vibration, this kind of vibration frequency is the frequency of sound wave, and that¡¯s the buzz sound people heard. With the unceasing development of rinsing industry, ultrasonic cleaner has been widely used in industries as surface spraying treatment,  electron,machinery,  medical, clock and jewelry, semiconductor,  optics and spinning. How does a ultrasonic cleaner work? Generally say there are three main working principles.

Cavitation Effect

Cavitation means ultrasonic wave transmission through liquid by interactive high frequency mapping mode with compressing force and decompressing force at speed of above 20000/s. When decompressing, there are vacuum nuclear cluster vesicles phenomenon in the liquid, when compressing, vacuum nuclear cluster vesicles are crushed by pressure and generate powerful impact force, in this way to peel the dirt on cleaning objects.


Direct Inflow

Ultrasonic wave flow with the direction of sound transmission in liquid, that¡¯s so called direct inflow. When sound wave strength is 0.5W/cm2, we can see the direct inflow by eyes, it is vertical to vibration face and generate flow at speed of 10cm/s. Dirt is stirred by the direct inflow, and cleaning liquid also generate convection, which speed up the solution rate.


Acceleration Speed

Liquid particle push generate acceleration. For high frequency ultrasonic cleaner, cavitation speed is not obvious, high frequency ultrasonic cleaner mainly rely on accelerated speed strike particle to remove dirt.
